DAYTON — Hundreds of people got their sweat on early Saturday morning for the fifth annual “Strides for Life 5K”.
The event brings awareness to organ, eye and tissue donors.
“Today is also Donor Remembrance Day. So we want to take the time to honor those who gave the ultimate gift and that’s the gift of life,” Stephanie Burianek, community outreach coordinator for Life Connection Ohio said at the event.
