FRANKLIN COUNTY — UPDATE @ 12:44 a.m.:

The Endangered Missing Adult Alert has been canceled for Wade Mills.

Monday morning police confirmed that he was found safe.

INITIAL REPORT: An Endangered Missing Adult Alert has been issued by the Whitehall Police Department statewide for an 88-year-old man.

Police say Wade Mills was last seen Saturday at 4:30 p.m. when he drove away from his home on Westphal Avenue in the city of Whitehall and didn’t return.

Mills is a white male, 5′ 7″ tall, weighs 155 lbs., and has gray hair and blue eyes.

Law enforcement is concerned for Mr. Mills’ safety.

The vehicle involved is a white 2002 Buick Century with OH plate number 396XXP.

Anyone who has information about Mills’ whereabouts is urged to call 911 or 1-866-693-9171 to be transferred directly to the investigating law enforcement agency.
