CELINA — Police seized a “significant amount” of suspected Fentanyl and Heroin and one person was taken to the hospital after a drug investigation in Celina.

Around 12:56 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, Celina Police Officers responded to reports of an apparent drug overdose, according to a Facebook post from Celina Police Department.

During the investigation, officers found and seized a “significant amount of suspected Fentanyl, Heroin, and drug paraphernalia,” according to the post.
Officers suspected drug trafficking as well. The person was treated at a local hospital where they were later released.
A two-year-old child was also at the house and was relocated with a family member while the investigation continues.
The police department is not releasing any names or locations at this time as criminal charges are pending.
The incident is under investigation by the Celina Police Department.
