Shooting victim in Miamisburg drives self to hospital

MIAMISBURG — UPDATE @ 7:27 p.m.

The person who drove them self to the hospital after being shot in the abdomen is in good condition, the police sergeant on scene told WHIO.

They are said to have known their shooter and are working with police to provide further information.

INITIAL REPORT @ 7:11 p.m.

Police are on scene in the 7400 block of South Union Road, the location where a person is believed to have been shot.

The person called police while driving them self to the hospital after having been shot in the abdomen, according to initial reports around 6:15 p.m.

The scene will remain under investigation as police attempt to pinpoint an exact location.
