UPDATE @ 9:20 p.m.: One person has been killed in the three-vehicle accident in front of Scott's Equipment Sales & Rental, in the 18,000 block of state Route 540, Bellefontaine police said.
The Bellefontaine Examiner is reporting that the fatality, a 52-year-old woman, had to be extricated. A second driver suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The third vehicle was moderately damaged, according to the Examiner.
A police dispatcher said no other information would be available until Tuesday morning.

Careflight has been called to a crash at North Main Street and East Sandusky Avenue in Bellefontaine.
The medical helicopter was called to the scene at approximately 4:40 p.m.
