RANGE Task Force seize drugs, weapons from car after Dayton crash

DAYTON — Members of the RANGE Task Force and Dayton police are investigating a crash in the area of Fairview Avenue and Mayfair Road this afternoon.

The crash was reported around 1:45 p.m. and initial reports indicated at least one person was in custody.

Investigators pulled two guns and suspected drugs from the Chevrolet Impala involved in the crash.

The RANGE Task Force primarily focuses on disrupting and dismantling drug trafficking organizations and other criminal enterprises operating in and around the Miami Valley, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office’s website.
