Preble County Sheriff Mike Simpson said Nicholas Knaff, 34, of Eaton, is accused of selling meth during undercover drug buys, according to a media release. The drug buys all occurred within 1,000 feet of a school, leading to multiple drug trafficking and possession charges.

Knaff was arrested on Aug. 8 and was released from jail after making an initial appearance in Preble County Common Pleas Court on Aug. 9.

Cheyla Woodlums, 20, of Eaton, was also indicted on charges of drug trafficking and possession after she allegedly sold heroin to undercover officers. Deputies said Woodlums was already housed in the Preble County Jail on drug charges when a Preble County Grand Jury indicted her on the new charges.

The grand jury also indicted two other people in connection to the drug investigation, but Simpson said they have not been located or arrested.
