MIAMI TOWNSHIP — A woman was seriously injured after being run over by an a vehicle in Miami Township Thursday evening.
Emergency crews were called to respond to reports of a pedestrian crash in the 2300 block of West Knoll Court around 5:30 p.m., according to initial reports.

Miami Township police say a 30-year-old woman was trying to put her children in a vehicle when it rolled back and hit her.
Police say the mom suffered “very serious injuries,” and she was taken to an area hospital.
It is currently not known how the vehicle rolled backwards. A crash reconstruction team has been called to the scene.
