Police search for burglar after homeowner spots break-in on doorbell camera

DAYTON — Police searched a Dayton neighborhood after a homeowner saw on a doorbell camera that a burglar was trying to break into her garage, according to dispatch records.

Police received a call around 9:30 a.m. that a homeowner on Rutland Drive saw someone break into the attached garage through a window, records indicate.

Officers chased and searched in the neighborhood for the suspect however it was not clear if police made any arrests.

No injuries have been reported.
