ENGLEWOOD — An area school district will be holding an open house for a soon-to-be-closed elementary school.

The Northmont City School District will be holding the open house at Englewood Elementary School Thursday from 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
It will take place at the 700 block of Albert Street, the district announced on social media.
Visitors will be able to walk through the building and the district will have food available.
News Center 7 previously reported the school board voted unanimously to close the school after voters rejected a school levy.
The district also approved nine staff cuts and the superintendent also said during the meeting up to 30 positions could be cut.
