SIDNEY — Multiple agencies were called to a fire in Sidney Sunday afternoon.
Around 5 p.m. Sidney firefighters were called to the 500 block of 4th Avenue to reports of a working fire at a two-story building, according to initial reports.
Once on scene firefighters requested a “box alarm” calling in any available off-duty firefighters and mutual aid from neighboring volunteer fire departments, according to Sidney Fire Department on social media.

Crews were able to extinguish the fire.
It is not known the amount of damage the fire caused or if anyone was inside at the time of the fire.
