3 injured after rollover crash involving camper on I-70 east

CLARK COUNTY — UPDATE @ 2:40 p.m.: 

Three people inside an SUV were injured following a rollover crash on I-70 east near I-675 in Clark County Monday afternoon.

State troopers said the SUV, which was towing a camper, was traveling in the center lane of I-70 east. Investigators believe the driver took evasive action while either making a lane change or a vehicle came into the lane the SUV was traveling in, state troopers said.

The camper fishtailed, causing both the camper and SUV to roll. During the crash, a semi was hit by either the SUV or camper, according to investigators.

Three people inside the SUV were transported to Miami Valley Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

State troopers continue to block the left lane for cleanup and investigation. All lanes of the highway are expected to reopen before 4 p.m.

Three people have been taken to Miami Valley Hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening following a rollover crash involving a camper on I-70 east near I-675.

The left lane of I-70 east remains blocked. The right and center lanes have reopened.

A crash involving a camper that has rolled onto its side is blocking traffic on Interstate 70 east near Interstate 675.

Initial reports indicated injuries were reported in the crash, however the severity of the injuries was not immediately known.

The left two lanes of I-70 east appear to be blocked by the crash.

We’re hearing reports a semi-tractor trailer also may be involved in the crash.
