DAYTON — One man was taken to the hospital after being shot in Dayton late Sunday night.
Police were called to a shooting in the 2400 block of Home Avenue just before 11:00 p.m., according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

While officers were on their way to the scene, they were told that the victim of the shooting, a 25-year-old man, was being taken to Miami Valley Hospital by a third-party vehicle, according to Dayton Police Lt. Steve Bauer.
Police arrived at the hospital and found the man. Police said he had suffered non-life threatening injuries.
No one has been charged in connection to this shooting at this time.
The incident remains under investigation.
