His bond was set at $250,000.

INITIAL REPORT (Jan. 4)

A man accused of stabbing and detaining his girlfriend against her will on Christmas is now formally charged with multiple felonies.

Kyle M. Quillen, 28, was indicted by a Montgomery County grand jury on rape, abduction and felonious assault charges, according to court documents.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies received a 911 call about 8 p.m. from a woman who said she had been stabbed and was running from Quillen’s Harrison Twp. home.

Deputies found the woman on Klepinger Road, near Siebenthaler Avenue, according to the report.

The woman told News Center 7 that Quillen wasn’t taking medication for an apparent mental health disorder and he “thought he was someone he wasn’t.”

She reportedly escaped the home by kicking open a bedroom door and moving a cabinet so she could jump out a kitchen window.

Deputies found kitchen knives on the floor in the dining area as well as blood on a hallway wall and in a bedroom, according to the report.

Quillen is to be arraigned Jan. 8.
