Tim O’Loughlin, the principal of St. Christopher School, dressed up as “Buddy the Elf” and made appearances around campus on Friday.
“I knew the kids would enjoy Buddy the Elf, but I think some of our teachers and parents liked it more than the kids,” O’Loughlin told News Center 7. “Last night, I actually wasn’t even sure if I was going to do it. I woke up this morning and said, ‘Ok let’s give it a try. I just hope someone thinks it’s funny.’”
“I’m not afraid to make a fool of myself. When I do, I just tell myself I’m setting a good example of humility for our students,” he continued.
O’Loughlin, who many know by “Mr. O,’” says he’s a fan of Will Ferrell, Buddy the Elf, and maple syrup on his spaghetti.
