The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) was dispatched around 7:12 a.m. to I-75 northbound near State Route 571 on reports of a crash, according to an OSHP dispatcher.
News Center 7 spoke to a lieutenant with the OSHP Piqua Post late Thursday morning and learned the crash happened when a semi went into the left lane and hit a Kia Forte.

The impact caused the Kia to hit the median wall and then go across all three lanes of traffic and into a ditch.
After hitting the Kia, troopers say the semi then hit the back of a GMC minivan. That caused both the van and the semi to hit the median wall.
While dispatchers initially told News Center 7 that one injury had been reported, the lieutenant later confirmed no medical transports were made from the scene.
The semi driver was cited for a marked lane violation.
The crash caused the left and right lanes on northbound I-75 to be closed for about 1.5 hours.
