Kettering Health offering virtual visits to help determine if COVID-19 test is needed

MIAMI VALLEY — Kettering Health announced it is offering virtual visits with advanced practice providers to help patients determine if a COVID-19 test or other care is needed.

To access this service, patients answer screening questions online to determine what type of care is best suited for their symptoms.

If symptoms are mild, a MyChart telehealth visit with a Kettering Physician Network provider is recommended to determine if a COVID-19 test if needed, and patients are given the option to schedule a telehealth appointment, according to a release.

Appointments are limited and available for scheduling the day before.

Patients do not have to be a Kettering Health patient, but a MyChart account and insurance information (if available) is required.
