Investigation underway after multiple fires break out at same Dayton home

DAYTON — An investigation is underway after multiple fires broke out at the same Dayton home within a 36-hour period.

Firefighters responded to five fire incidents at the same home in the 400 block of Rockcliff Circle, according to the Dayton Fire Department. Fire crews were called to the home Wednesday at 1:14 a.m. and 8:22 a.m., and Thursday at 3:02 a.m., 5:56 a.m., and 9:30 a.m.

The causes of the fires are currently under investigation by Dayton Fire Department investigators.

However, the fire department says one person has been taken into custody related to the most recent fire incident, which was determined to have been intentionally set.

No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.

The fire department says the fire incidents are considered isolated, and there is no apparent threat to other homes in the area.
