Hundreds participate in Dayton Ghost ‘N Goblin 5K

Hundreds of people participated in the 33rd Annual Dayton Ghost ‘N Goblin 5K on Monday night.

The race, presented by the Ohio River Road Runners Club, started at the Welcome Stadium and ended at Edwin C. Moses Boulevard.

This year, it included a Halloween costume contest, food and drinks, music, and an awards ceremony where trophies and medals were handed out to the winners.

The race provides grants to local children’s running clubs, free/low-cost races for the community, and to encourage a healthier and more active lifestyle.

News Center 7's Gabrielle Enright also attended the race tonight.
