THIS EVENING & OVERNIGHT: Conditions will be warm and muggy with a breeze from time to time, News Center 7 Meteorologist Dontae Jones said. Temperatures will be in the 70s by late evening. Expect another warm and muggy but quiet one overnight with temperatures in the upper 60s to around 70.

JULY 4TH: Expect a very hot Independence Day with highs in the low 90s. It will feel like the mid-90s because of the humidity. There will be sunshine and a few clouds but the day will be mainly dry. We could see a stray afternoon shower but the threat is low. Evening temperatures will fall through the 80s.

SUNDAY: The day will be mostly sunny with highs in the low 90s. A stray shower could develop but conditions will stay mostly dry.

MONDAY: Sunshine and scattered clouds are in the forecast and the heat wave continues with highs in the low 90s. A pop-up shower or storm could develop as we heat up in the afternoon.

TUESDAY: Highs hit 90 again and it’ll start to feel a little muggier. We will have sun and clouds with a few showers or storms.

WEDNESDAY: It will be partly cloudy with highs staying hot in the lower 90s. Humidity will stay moderate so the heat index will be in the mid- to upper 90s. A few passing showers and storms are possible for the afternoon.
