DP&L: Give the Gift of Power to help local families stay warm this winter

Dayton Power and Light will be helping customers in need with their winter heating bills.

This is the fourth year for the Gift of Power assistance program, which helps local families struggling to pay their heating bills and who may not be eligible for Ohio Energy Assistance programs, according to a release.

DP&L is contributing $165,000 to support needy families in greater Dayton and in their 24 counties. DP&L customers and employees also give donations, which are administered by The Salvation Army, read the release.

During the months of November and December, DP&L customers will have the opportunity to help needy families by completing the special donation envelope in their monthly bill, or donate online at dpandl.com/gift.
