To start the new week after spending money on Thanksgiving meals and Black Friday shopping, Ohioans can at least find relief that gas prices are down across the state.
The cheapest price for gas in our area is $2.94 at the Gulf station on County Road 25-A in Troy. Farther south, gas is $2.96 at the Kroger at Austin Landing.
The state average was $3.14 for a gallon of regular fuel in a statewide survey Monday morning conducted by AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and WEX Inc. This is an 11-cent drop from last week's average.
The national average for gas today is $3.27.
