Police and firefighters provided escort for and assisted the funeral procession today for Brandon McGraw, a 2000 Brookville High School graduate and U.S. Marine who died in a Dec. 14 skydiving accident in Australia.
Brookville fire and police were on hand to block roads as a large crowd of McGraw's friends and family attended the military services and interment at Arlington Cemetery.
The 33-year-old, an experienced skydiver, died while on vacation in Euroa, Australia with his wife, Sherilyn McGraw, who won the trip on the Ellen Degeneres Show.
Reports indicated McGraw's parachute shifted suddenly toward the end of what had been a normal skydive up to that point.
