That day is finally here. McDonald’s is promoting one of their entrée items by giving out a free taste with absolutely no strings attached today, and only today.

The McChicken will be available for free on McDonald’s mobile app in the offers section on May 10.
The offer can be redeemed in-store or via a delivery or pick-up order.
Customers will have to select a regular McChicken and checkout, in the app or in-store, by providing a coupon code.
The offer limited to one McChicken per person per visit at participating locations. No minimum purchases are required.
“Customers can use the app to order ahead and save time with Mobile Order & Pay, plus they can join MyMcDonald’s Rewards to earn points on every order to redeem for free McDonald’s,” a McDonald’s spokesperson said.
First time users will earn three times the points on their first mobile order, the spokesperson continued.
The app also allows users to pay with their favorite mobile payment methods, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, or Venmo along with traditional debit or credit card options.
The app is available for Android and Apple devices.
