Former Realtor Tim Hall will get life sentence for rape conviction

WARREN COUNTY — A former Realtor in the Miami Valley will have to wait to be sentenced to life in prison after he was found guilty on rape and sexual battery charges following a week-long trial last week.

Tim Hall, 57, was booked into the Warren County Jail Friday after he was convicted on seven of the 17 charges he’d been indicted on.

Because one of the charges involved the forcible rape of a child that was 12-years-old, Hall will face a mandatory sentence of life in prison. However, today he will learn how much time he will have to serve until he is eligible for any type of parole.

A sexual predator classification hearing and formal sentencing hearing will be held in 45 days, according to Judge Timothy Tepe. The sentencing had been scheduled for today.

Hall, of Clearcreek Twp., was charged with the crimes said to involve at least 17 incidents involving two victims between July 1991 and December 1999.

The victims in the case were known to Hall.

After his initial arrest, officials with RE-MAX Victory in Springboro said Hall was no longer employed there.

Last year, Dayton Realtors said Hall’s real estate license became inactive in May 2019.

“He is no longer a member of Dayton Realtors (thus he cannot conduct real estate business),” Bob Jones, director of communications for Dayton Realtors, said in an email.
