DARKE COUNTY — UPDATE @ 8:20 P.M.
A fire destroyed two barns in Darke County on Saturday.

Ansonia firefighters responded around 3:15 p.m. to the 9800 block of Beam Road on a reported structure fire, according to fire officials.

When firefighters arrived, they found two medium-sized barns heavily involved. There was also a third barn nearby, but firefighters saved it.
Crews also had to battle heavy smoke and wind conditions, fire officials said.
The home, additional barn, and propane tank were saved.
No injuries were reported.
There are currently no estimated costs of damages, but the two barns are destroyed, fire officials stated.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
