DAYTON — Firefighters extinguished a fire at a vacant house in Dayton Monday evening, Dayton Fire Department Captain Jesse Wilson confirmed.

Dayton fire crews were called to Crown Avenue on reports of a fire after 5:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters saw smoke and fire coming from the windows of the house.
Wilson said the house was vacant and boarded up.
No one was injured in this fire.
The cause of this fire remains under investigation.
