Fairborn police investigate robbery at U.S. Bank

FAIRBORN — Fairborn police responded to the U.S. Bank on West Main Street after a robbery at the business, according to emergency dispatch traffic.

The robbery was reported around 3:45 p.m. and reportedly involved a man about 6-foot tall wearing a beanie hat.

Initial reports indicated the robber gave the teller a note saying he had a gun, but never actually showed one, according to dispatch traffic.

The man got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
