Fairborn City School District moving to remote learning temporarily

FAIRBORN — The Fairborn City School District announced on Monday it will temporarily be moving to remote learning Thursday, January 13th and Friday January 14th due to increased illnesses with both staff and students.

Teachers will be sending work home and work will be posted in Google Classroom, the school district said in a release.

All extra-curricular activities are canceled for these dates as well, the school district said.

Food will be distributed at each building on Wednesday for students to take home.

“The district is encouraging all staff members and students to take this time to stay home and take care of your personal health,” the release said.

The school district is reminding parents and students that Monday, January 17th is a scheduled holiday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

School will start back on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 as scheduled.
