MERCER COUNTY — Ten people were indicted by a grand jury last week, majority on felony drug charges, according to Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey.

Six of the 10 individuals who were served by the sheriff’s office are currently in custody at the Mercer County Detention Center.
They include:
- Jeffrey Christian, 34, charged with aggravated possession of drugs and possession of drug abuse instruments
- Vanessa Denny, 38, charged with aggravated possession of drugs
- Katie Evers, 27, charged with aggravated possession of drugs
- Kelli J. Rutter, 23, charged with two counts of aggravated drug trafficking and one count of trafficking counterfeit controlled substances
- Isaiah W. Schnell, 28, charged with engaging in pattern on corrupt activity, trafficking marijuana, two counts of drug possession, and one count of aggravated possession of drugs
- Austin P. Swartz, 24, charged with engaging in pattern of corrupt activity, two counts of trafficking marijuana, two counts of drug possession, and one count of aggravated possession of drugs
Those not currently in custody are:
- Kyle K. Kloserman, 30, charged with aggravated possession of drugs and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia
- Renee D. Lovelace, 41, charged with aggravated possession of drugs and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia
- Daniel R. Morris, 21, charged with theft by deception
- Jason E. Niemeyer, 39, charged with two counts of aggravated drug trafficking
These cases represent the efforts of Celina Police Department, the Grand Lake Drug Task Force, and the sheriff’s office.
