“I got up, went to the restroom and wondered why my door was standing wide open, seen glass all through my kitchen, looked out the door and this is what I found,” he said. “I didn’t ear nothing.”

The driver of the SUV was trapped for hours and unable to call for help after crashing into a tree and porch of the home in the 4700 block of Ohio 718 between Troy and Pleasant Hill, according to deputies.

A resource officer passing by spotted the crash 7:25 a.m., about two hours after the rash happened.

The man was rescued from the vehicle around 8 a.m. and transported by CareFlight medical helicopter to an area hospital. His condition was not released.
