A woman trying to park at her workplace in Kettering this morning struck the building, and she told police the accelerator must have malfunctioned.
The driver was not hurt in the crash and the building appeared unharmed, but the airbags deployed in her Honda CRV at the office building, 5335 Far Hills Ave.
Police said the woman was rattled and called her husband to remove the car because she feared the accelerator had malfunctioned.
She told the officers she never pressed the gas pedal, but the vehicle kept going forward.
