DAYTON — A man accused of murder, after a 41-year-old Dayton man was found shot to death in the backyard of a Five Oaks Avenue house, will spend 38 years to life in prison.
Jeremy Harris, 27, pleaded no contest before Judge Mary Wiseman Monday morning to charges of murder, felonious assault, aggravated robbery, tampering with evidence and weapons under disability, court officials said.
He was sentenced Wednesday and is eligible for parole after 38 years.
Harris was accused of killing Antonio Perkins before police responded to the Five Oaks Avenue address on Sept. 21, 2017, records show.
