DAYTON — The City of Dayton is extending a program that began in 2020 to help small businesses recover from the COVID-19 crisis.
Last year, the city started the Pop-Up Patio Program to provide businesses with guidance on planning, installing, and operating new patios and customer seating on private property or in public right-of-way areas.
This also includes sidewalks and curbside parking zones.

The deadline for the program was March 1, however, it has now been extended to the end of 2021.
City staff members will assist businesses with the application and permit process while providing both temporary and permanent installations beyond the end of the year.
