As COVID-19 cases wane, a Dayton Children’s doctor said normal pediatric conditions are starting to reemerge.
She is starting to see an increase in viral sore throats, runny noses, coughs, croup, and viral rashes.
She explained, when COVID-19 was more prevalent in the community, it was keeping other viruses out.
Additionally, as people get vaccinated and decrease their pandemic precautions, kids are in closer contact with one another, spreading germs.
