PIQUA — Police continue to investigate a serious rollover crash north of Piqua that ejected one person from the vehicle early Wednesday morning, according to initial reports.

Units were called to the area of the Piqua water plant north of Piqua on state Route 66 around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday on reports of a single-vehicle rollover crash.
Investigators on the scene said two people were injured in the crash. One person was found suffering from serious injuries while the second person was found in a small body of water after they tried to run from the scene, investigators said.
One person was flown from the scene by a CareFlight medical helicopter, dispatchers said. However the conditions of either person involved in the crash were not released.
Potential factors in the crash were not released and Piqua police are continuing to investigate.
