SPRINGBORO — Crews worked to extinguish a fire in Clearcreek Township late Monday night.
Firefighters were called to a house fire in the 8400 block of Crossley Road with reports of heavy fire at 10:15 p.m.
Fire crews on the scene told News Center 7 the fire started on the back porch of the home but the cause is still under investigation.

No one was inside the house at the time of the fire, except two dogs, but no injuries were reported, according to fire crews.
The fire was able to be extinguished before it caused major damage to the house.
