DAYTON — Emergency crews responded to a report of a shooting on South Smithville Road in Dayton.
When officers arrived, they learned there was no shooting, but that a man had reportedly been pistol whipped, according to Montgomery County Regional dispatchers.
Further information regarding the incident were not available.
Crews have cleared the scene.
