Rain returns late Thursday; Wet, windy St. Patrick’s Day

DETAILED FORECAST:

TODAY: Clear skies give way to clouds overnight, breezy, and chilly with temperatures falling to the lower 30s.

TOMORROW: Dry to start, but more clouds around and becoming breezy through the day. Winds may gust up to 35mph. Highs for the day reach the upper 50s. Scattered showers arrive Thursday evening and will continue into Thursday night with a few isolated downpours.

FRIDAY: Scattered rain showers and gusty winds through the first half of the day then taper by midday into early afternoon. A stray flurry or sprinkle may return later in the day as temperatures drop. Temperatures will start in the upper 40s to lower 50s then fall behind the front that brings us rain.

SATURDAY:A blustery and cold day for Saturday with a stray flurry possible early. Clouds break for some sunshine with highs in the middle 30s.

SUNDAY: Sunny and seasonably for the first day of Spring. Highs are expected in the middle to upper 40s.

MONDAY: A milder day for Tuesday with mostly sunny skies and highs in the lower 50s.

TUESDAY: Another milder day in the lower 50s. Partly cloudy and dry.

WEDNESDAY: Sunshine returns with a few clouds on Wednesday with highs in the upper 50s.
