DAYTON — Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) will offer free shuttle service for celebrators of the Dayton Celtic Festival from July 27 to 29, according to a RTA press release.

The three-day event, filled with Irish culture, Celtic art and a 5K run, will cause several street closures and bus reroutes. Still, festival goers can take the RTA buses to the celebration. The shuttles will operate on a continuous loop and will continue each night until the last customer is picked up, according to the release.
The shuttle will run at these scheduled times:
Friday - 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Saturday - 11:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Sunday - 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The bus will ride north on Jefferson Street, west on Second Street, turn onto North Main Street to Monument Avenue, then south on Ludlow Street and east on Fifth Street, according to the release. The shuttle will also take a small loop around the Dublin Pub through Bainbridge Street, Hugo Street, and Wayne Avenue before travelling back onto Fifth Street.

In addition, the following downtown streets will be shut down:
Beginning Thursday:
North Patterson Boulevard from First Street to Monument Avenue.
Patterson Boulevard from First Street to Monument Avenue.
Monument Avenue from Jefferson Street to Patterson Boulevard.
Jefferson Street from First Street to Monument Avenue.
St. Clair Street from First Street to Monument Avenue (south section remains open through Friday at 5 p.m. to maintain access to businesses in the area)
Southbound Riverside Drive from White Allen to Monument Avenue.
Harries Street from the parking garage to Monument Avenue.
The alley behind Memorial Hall.
The Engineers Club entry/exit to Monument Avenue.
The Wright State University entry/exit to Monument Avenue.
Beginning July 27 at 1 p.m. (until 2 a.m. July 30):
Northbound Riverside Drive at the intersection of Monument Avenue and Patterson Boulevard.
Parking also will be available for $3 in the Main Street Garage at Main Street and Monument Avenue.
