2 hospitalized after car crashes into tree in Dayton

DAYTON — Two people are hospitalized after a car crashed into a tree in Dayton Friday afternoon.

Dayton Police officers and medics were dispatched around 2:45 p.m. to the intersection of Riverside Drive and Norman Avenue on initial calls of a crash, Montgomery Regional Dispatch told News Center 7.

Medics transported two people to Miami Valley Hospital with stable injuries, officers told our news crew at the scene.

Images show damage to the passenger side of the car and several officers blocking the intersection.

The crash remains under investigation.
