Robert Maggio, an Air Force veteran and former WPAFB civilian employee, is one of them, as he recalls watching in amazement the events that unfolded that day.
“Fortunately no one was hurt, fortunately there was no shooter,” Maggio told News Center 7’s Mike Campbell.
Maggio was unhappy to learn of base security forces firing into a room at the hospital, and suggested joint trainings to avoid something like this in the future.
