AAA’s annual ‘Batteries for Trees’ campaign aims to plant 11,000 trees in national forest

DAYTON — Now until the end of April, AAA says they will be planting the same number of trees as batteries recycled by its Emergency Roadside service team.

The 12th annual ‘Batteries for Trees’ campaign’s goal is to fund the planting of 11,000 trees. To date, the effort has planted nearly 40,000 trees through the Arbor Day Foundation.
