GROVE CITY — Five teenagers have been charged after a fight broke out at a central Ohio movie theater earlier this week.

Police were called to the AMC movie theater in Grove City after a fight unfolded inside and outside the theater around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, according to our news partners at WBNS in Columbus.

“I work at AMC Grove City, and there is a fight in our lobby,” a movie theater employee said in a 911 call obtained by WBNS.
When asked about any weapons being used in the fight, the employee told dispatchers that there weren’t any seen, but “there’s definitely been threats of them.”
A 15-year-old boy told police that an 18-year-old man and 19-year-old woman were in the bathroom, and that he and a 15-year-old girl were knocking on the door.
When the man and woman exited the bathroom, the two males began fighting, according to police records obtained by WBNS.
The fight moved outside, at which point the woman and girl also started fighting.
A 14-year-old boy also joined the fight at one point. That teen allegedly tried to run from police after being told he wasn’t free to go, but eventually complied.
Records show the 15-year-old girl lost a tooth during the fight.
All five people involved were charged with disorderly conduct.
