The Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 12500 block of state Route 235 at 1:18 a.m. on reports of a crash, the crash report stated.

A preliminary investigation found that a 1999 Honda Accord was going west when it went across the road and off the left side. It then entered a small grassy area before going onto a nearby gas station’s parking lot and hitting a gas pump.

The gas pump was dislodged and knocked over.

The driver, a 38-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and required medical attention, the crash report said. As a result, responding medics transported the victim to Lima Memorial Main Campus on Bellefontaine Avenue.

Another occupant reported injuries and required a transport to the same hospital. The severity of their condition was not disclosed.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office led the investigation into the crash.
