1 taken to the hospital after 3-vehicle crash on Columbus Avenue in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD — One person was taken to the hospital after emergency crews responded to a 3-vehicle crash in the 2800 block of Columbus Avenue around 10:40 a.m., according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

One vehicle landed on top of another during the crash and initial scanner traffic reported that one person was trapped, no further details were immediately available.

The sheriff’s office says the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
