DARKE COUNTY — Two people have been taken to the hospital after the truck they were in; crashed into a Darke County house.
Crews were called to an injury crash on the 3000 block of State Route 571 West just before 1:00 a.m. Friday, according to a press release from the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.

Officer’s preliminary investigations show a 1994 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Christopher Kunkel, 18, of Greenville, was traveling on SR 571 near McMecham Road.
Kunkel failed to control his truck and drove off the road, crashing into a residence on SR 571.
No one inside the home was injured, but Kunkel and his passenger were taken to Wayne Hospital to be evaluated for non-life-threatening injuries.
