2 people from Greene County see filming of Robert De Niro movie ‘Wise Guys’

XENIA — Two people from Greene County had a front row seat to see the “Wise Guys” movie set on Saturday.

Filming for Robert De Niro’s new movie “Wise Guys” closed U.S. 35 between exit 55 and exit 62 for much of Saturday while film crews recorded segments for the movie, a spokesperson for the Ohio Department of Transportation said Friday.

They also restricted daytime closures of State Route 123 in Warren County for filming.

SR-123 will also be closed Monday and Tuesday between U.S. 22 and SR-132 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The closure will be in place Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

During periods of closure, traffic will be detoured via U.S. 22, S.R. 350 and S.R. 132.
