The Darke County Sheriff’s Office, Greenville Fire, and Greenville Township Fire and Rescue responded to a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 127 at Children’s Home Bradford Road at 2:06 p.m., a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a white 2008 Chevy Impala was stopped eastbound on Children’s Home Bradford Road at the U.S. Route 127 intersection. However, the Chevy’s driver failed to yield the right-of-way to a northbound white 2019 Ford F-150.
The two vehicles collided and injured their respective drivers.
When the Ford’s driver was hit, his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and into the ditch where the pickup truck rolled over onto its top.
The Chevy’s driver was treated and released at the scene while the Ford’s driver was transported to Wayne HealthCare by Greenville Township Rescue for further treatment. The hospitalized victim was later released.
The Darke County Sheriff’s Office led the investigation into the crash.
