The Darke County Sheriff’s Office and Liberty Township Fire, assisted by Greenville Township and Tri Village Rescues in a mutual aid, responded to the 4300 block of Palestine Hollansburg Road at 11:13 p.m. for a single-vehicle crash, Darke County Dispatch confirmed.

A man and woman required medical attention after their 2022 Harley Davidson traveled off the right side of the road and struck a ditch while in the northeast lanes.

The two riders were ejected from the motorcycle upon impact. Unfortunately, they were not wearing helmets at the time of the crash.

The patients were treated at the scene before CareFlight units flew to their location to transport them to Miami Valley Hospital for further care.

Their condition is currently unknown.

The Darke County Sheriff’s Office led the investigation into the crash.
